Problem Statement: How might we encourage general public to engage more in their city parks?

SCENARIO

As the most sought after places of recreation, parks are used by people for exercising, playing, meetups, relaxing and even for photographing and bird watching. In-spite of using these parks on a regular basis, not many people know about the history of their favorites parks or the types of trees, plants and wildlife in those parks. Even if one is interested, there are not many resources for them to use.

Parks of NYC is a one stop app for users to get to know all about their favorite parks - History, various types of flora and fauna, events etc.
